Katy Perry at Purr launching in Manila.
I went to the event as a fan! Yay! Took as many photos I can before I hand my camera to Ken. No personal belongings allowed on stage during the meet and greet.
I showed Katy the photo I took during her show last 2009 and she loves it! I got it signed and she asked me to send it to her! She wrote something at the back of the photo too. Yey! More stories and photos from our 2 minute moment on my next post!

Kamikazee heating up the crowd at Simple Plan Live In Manila concert last January 12, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
This is my second time shooting this band, first was at TRRF @ MOA last year. I always wanted to capture Jay’s high jump and head stand. This time I was lucky to capture some decent shots, BUT I’m still not satisfied with them. I got to have a 3rd chance! Grrr. More photos

Crowd screamed as Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier said on stage “It’s more fun in the Philippines,” during their concert last January 12, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Seb Lefebvre, guitarist of SP, also tweeted “Everything is more fun in the Philippines. I believe it now!”

This year is probably the best year for me as a photographer. I was so lucky I have attended and covered some of the best events in Manila!

TRAIN LIVE IN MANILA 2011
DECEMBER 8, 2011 @ SMART ARANETA COLISEUMAmazing performance by the band! Full of energy on stage, felt like watching a young gen band. And not to mention Pat’s flawless singing and dancing skills! Yeah!
Cool band they don’t have that much restrictions on shoot time. They even allowed us official photographers to shoot and use the pit anytime during the entire show! =)

The first concert photo I ever took was of Alicia Keys when she first visited Manila back in 2004. It was too grainy you won't recognize it's her. But every time I look at that picture I still get the exact same feelings I had when Alicia stepped on stage.
I am currently building my portfolio and hopefully I'll be successful in this field. Support me, like this page and let's capture those awesome moments on stage!
